Water is crucial in horticulture, both in greenhouse farming and open ground cultivation. It must always be available and of good quality, regardless of the weather conditions. Therefore, the collection and storage of water are essential for proper business operations.
Genap is globally recognized for its high-quality water storage systems, which we have been supplying and installing in horticulture for decades. Leveraging our extensive industry knowledge, we serve as a valuable partner, offering substantive advice on the most suitable water storage solutions for specific needs. Our water reservoirs, water silos, and their corresponding covers are prefabricated in our factory, facilitating quick and easy assembly on-site.
Genap's water silo systems easily store large quantities of water.

On behalf of distributor Infa Techniek, Genap has installed three water reservoirs at the new greenhouse complex of Verenigde Groenten Tuinders (VGT) in Terneuzen. These reservoirs are equipped with semi-closed Genafloat® covers that protect the quality of the stored water against wave action, algae, and evaporation. With a total storage capacity of 90,000 m³, approximately 150,000 m² of greenhouse is supplied with water.
For Van Kleef in Middenmeer, at the request of PB Techniek, Genap installed 3 water reservoirs, efficiently deploying 16,000 square meters of membrane and 8,300 square meters of slope protection in just one morning. This was achieved through strong collaboration, including the installation of 28 fittings for water management.
