Genap Airfloat

The Genap Airfloat is a smart and cost-effective solution for reducing evaporation, limiting algae growth, and regulating water temperature in a storage silo. This cover is made from durable double-layer polyethylene and floats directly on the water surface. Thanks to the integrated edge that hangs into the water, the cover stays securely in place – even in strong winds.

The light grey top layer effectively reflects sunlight, helping to stabilise water temperature and minimise heat build-up. The black underside blocks out light, preventing photosynthesis and reducing algae growth. Small perforations in the cover allow rainwater to pass through, so it doesn’t pool on the surface and can be easily collected.

Unlike other systems, the Airfloat requires no heavy components or complex installation. Simply place the cover on the water – it’s as easy as that.
