Silos and closed water reservoirs at a rose nursery
For Van den Berg in Kenya, as part of the Green Farming project aimed at sustainable rose cultivation, Genap installed efficient water storage systems and fertilizer silos. Fully enclosed reservoirs store reverse osmosis water for irrigation, preventing evaporation and contamination.
Underground water storage for greenhouse cooling
A rose grower has installed two underground water buffers for efficient greenhouse cooling, where cold water is stored and used to cool the greenhouse through a heat exchanger. This sustainable solution optimizes temperature regulation and climate control within the greenhouse.
Anti-algae tensioned cover for water reservoir
Genap has outfitted a water reservoir with a Genatex 1000 tensioned cover to combat algae growth, which is securely fastened using exterior tension straps. This solution is ideal for reservoirs 20 meters wide, while a floating cover is recommended for wider reservoirs.
GenaFlexstores for water storage in extreme climates
Genap has provided a GenaFlexstore water storage system for a greenhouse complex near Doha, Qatar, designed to withstand intense sunlight, heat, drifting sand, and salty air. Thanks to a UV-resistant membrane coating, it is suitable for both groundwater and desalinated water.
