14 water silos at tomato nursery
Genap supplied 14 silos with a total capacity of nearly 10,000 cubic meters for Duijvestijn Tomatoes in Pijnacker, at the request of Montera Techniek, as space-efficient water storage in their new greenhouses. Equipped with TLI for easy level monitoring and green-coated for landscape integration, these silos meet local requirements.
Water reservoirs with a semi-closed Genafloat®
The recent expansion of the greenhouses at the Zwinkels bell pepper nursery in Wervershoof led to an increased demand for clean water for cultivation. At the request of Horticoop, we were asked to find a suitable solution. The main goal was to maintain water quality and ensure a consistent water supply. In response, we installed semi-closed anti-algae covers on two water reservoirs, which have successfully contributed to achieving these goals.
Bottom seals at N33 crossing
Genap equipped the N33/N34 intersection near Gieten, at the request of KWS Infra, with a waterproof membrane to protect the groundwater. Utilizing large pre-fabricated PVC-P sheets, installed in just a few hours using cranes, and completed with a drainage fleece and geogrid for slope stability, this project covered 60,000 square meters over 36 days.
Landfill IJsseloord 2
At the request of Ballast Nedam, Genap installed a top cover at the IJsseloord II landfill in Arnhem, consisting of a mineral layer, membrane, drainage mat, and a 1-meter topsoil layer. This prevents waste materials from contaminating rainwater, thereby preventing groundwater pollution.
