Water reservoirs at a plant nursery for bedding and potted plants
For Emsflower, Europe's leading nursery for bedding and potted plants, Genap installed water reservoirs with special covers to prevent algae growth and evaporation at the request of Horticoop. In total, more than 100,000 square meters of membrane and 32,000 square meters of slope protection were applied.
Fully enclosed water reservoir in the desert
In Al Ain, UAE, Genap crafted a closed water storage reservoir for a tree nursery, featuring an innovative dual-layer membrane system. This design prevents algae growth and minimizes evaporation. The special "black-out" PVC membrane blocks sunlight and sand, essential for installation in a desert climate.
Tensioned cover of 38 meters on a slurry silo
For a 38.4-meter-high slurry silo in a snow-rich region, Genap delivered a custom-made tension cover, perfectly tailored for extreme snow loads. Thanks to early static calculations and close collaboration, this resulted in a high-quality, durable construction with 170 tension points
Seven tension covers on slurry silos
In partnership between Genap and Fabiton, seven tension covers were developed for environmentally friendly slurry processing for Greenferm in Apeldoorn. These installations, designed for accessibility and efficient maintenance, significantly enhance sustainability.
