Renovation of a fully enclosed slurry reservoir
Genap has renovated a slurry reservoir for V.O.F. C.A.W. Mijs-Craens in Bladel. The top cover and slope protection have been replaced with KIWA-certified PVC membrane, along with a new gas venting hose. Weed growth is prevented with water-permeable geotextile, ensuring compliance with Dutch slurry regulations.
Genafloat® anti-algae floating cover
At the request of Strooper Watertechniek, Genap supplied and installed a Genafloat® anti-algae floating cover for Dekker Chrysanten in Hensbroek, in a reservoir approximately 2,600 square meters in size. The cover was produced and placed seamlessly.
Energy storage in the form of 2 insulated water silos
At the request of Cogas Noord, Genap installed two fully insulated water storage silos at HZPC, serving as energy buffers to cool greenhouses with water maintained between 7-10°C, essential for temperature regulation in potato cultivation.
Silos and closed water reservoirs at a rose nursery
For Van den Berg in Kenya, as part of the Green Farming project aimed at sustainable rose cultivation, Genap installed efficient water storage systems and fertilizer silos. Fully enclosed reservoirs store reverse osmosis water for irrigation, preventing evaporation and contamination.
