Top seal of landfill De Vlagheide
On behalf of Ploegmakers Contracting Company, Genap installed a top seal on the former landfill site De Vlagheide, preparing it for future development in agriculture, nature, and recreation.
Membrane sealing of incinerator ash mounds N391
Genap lined two mounds with AVI soil membrane for Reef Infra BV at a grade-separated intersection of the N391 and N379, allowing the N391 to pass over the N379 for improved traffic flow. In just 12 days, Genap laid 20,700m² of membrane to prevent environmental damage.
Underpasses at main road N348
To enhance traffic safety, Genap has created construction pits for new underpasses along the N348 between Raalte and Ommen. This intervention eliminates hazardous intersections at the Oude Twentseweg and Dalmsholterdijk, signifying a significant improvement in traffic flow.
Øresundsbron Tunnel Link Denmark-Sweden
In the 1990s, Genap assisted with the construction of the Øresund Bridge Tunnel link. Initially, Genap was consulted for advice regarding the implementation of a geomembrane construction for the approaches to the Øresund tunnel. This eventually resulted in an order and installation of 85,000m² of our Genaseal LLDPE 2mm geomembrane.
