Ornamental pond in a private garden
A decorative pond was installed in a private garden in Sardinia by Genap using the flexible and durable Elevate EPDM Pondgard to give the pond a natural appearance. This material is UV-resistant and fish-friendly, and was installed on-site by Genap technicians. In total, more than 9,000 square meters of membrane were used for this installation.

Excavation pit for industrial area Haven VII A+B
Along the A59 near Waalwijk, Genap developed a membrane construction for BAM NBM Infra & Martens van Oord for a new industrial area. 300,000 square meters of 0.8 mm PVC membrane were installed to create a watertight excavation pit and protect the nearby nature reserve from drying out.

Waterproof membrane structure for sewage system
Genap constructed a water-retaining membrane system for the installation of a sewage system below the groundwater level. The membrane system was submerged based on its own weight, without the use of a pontoon, to save costs and maximize efficiency.

Membrane constructions under tunnel approaches
For the reconstruction of the Peelo Zuid road section, an underpass intersection and bicycle tunnel are planned, with membrane layers for construction pits following the U-polder principle. Genap supplied 8,000 m² of PVC membrane and 4,000 m² of protective fleece for this project for BAM Wegen bv, where spatial constraints necessitated an innovative approach.
