Concrete protection
The concrete wall of a biogas silo is partly exposed to the aggressive substances released during biogas production. This causes corrosion of the concrete. Lining the wall with a HDPE 5 mm sheet protects it from such corrosion. An alternative is to line the wall with a prefab PVC liner.
The wall does not have to be fully lined, depending on the minimum fill level of the silo. In the industry, Genap already has a great deal of experience in re-lining.
