Sure Grip® Lining
The Sure Grip® lining, developed and patented by AGRU, is a high-quality solution for the long-term protection of concrete structures. Extensive testing has proven the Agru Sure Grip® lining to excel in quality. The lining consists of a plastic sheet with anchors on the backside for attachment to the concrete. The material of the Sure Grip® lining is HDPE or another synthetic material that possesses the right characteristics for the intended application.
Utilizing Sure Grip® lining enhances the durability of concrete structures, making them more resilient to the effects of corrosion and wear. With an anticipated lifespan exceeding 100 years, Agru Sure Grip® often emerges as the top choice for construction and renovation projects in sewage treatment plants, specifically to combat H2S corrosion. Beyond wastewater and industrial wastewater treatment facilities, this lining finds application in a broad spectrum of industrial environments.
For an extended period, Genap has proudly served as the sole distributor and installer of Agru Sure Grip® across the Netherlands, executing numerous notable projects along the way.
Installation of Sure Grip® Lining
Agru Sure Grip lining is usually installed in the formwork where the concrete is poured. The anchors of the concrete protection possess high pull-out resistance and fixation in all directions, requiring a pull-out force of 40 tons/m² to detach the lining from the concrete. The assembly of the lining is significantly simplified through the use of available installation profiles. Once the formwork is removed, technicians weld and test the lining for waterproofness according to the processing protocol. The extrusion welding technique is employed for welding the linings together.
