New GenaDome PRO stands up to wind and weather

The GenaDome has been a trusted solution in horticulture for many years: a closed, protective cover for water silos that helps keep the water clean, clear, and at the right temperature. With the launch of the latest generation, Genap is taking a major step forward. The GenaDome PRO marks a complete redesign, ready to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow.
The most significant improvement lies in the structure: the GenaDome PRO is now fully self-supporting. Unlike earlier versions that relied on the silo rim for support, this new model stands independently on its own supports around the tank. As a result, the silo’s structural calculations remain unaffected. Wind and snow loads are no longer transferred to the silo rim but are instead absorbed by the self-supporting frame. The new design meets the Dutch standard snow load requirement of 56 kg/m² (valid for roofs with a pitch of up to 30°).
Further enhancements have been made in terms of materials, ease of installation, and durability. The structure is more robust, resistant to corrosion, and suitable for all silo types – including insulated models with a floating cover.
What are the differences?
The GenaDome PRO offers a durable, safe and future-proof solution for covering water silos – from standard models to insulated silos with floating covers. Thanks to its smart, self-supporting design, the silo remains free of structural load, maintenance is easier, and optimal protection is ensured in any climate. With this innovation, Genap once again raises the bar in horticultural water management.
