Wastewater storage
Genap, commissioned by Dura Vermeer Infra, supplied and installed wastewater storage reservoirs (process water) at the new production site of Abengoa Bio-energy Netherlands, the largest producer of bio-ethanol in the Netherlands.
Two wastewater reservoirs were lined with special MPG 950-20 membrane, selected for its chemical resistance. The reservoir structures were made from concrete retaining walls, lined with a protective fabric and the MPG membrane. After installation, the reservoirs were tested for watertightness using a geo-electric testing method conducted by an external entity.
