Underground water storage for greenhouse cooling

To control the climate within the greenhouse, a rose grower has decided to construct two underground water buffers. These buffers are utilized for greenhouse cooling. Cold water is stored in these water buffers. A piping system has been installed in the buffers, connected to the greenhouse’s heating system. Through a heat exchanger, the warmed water can be cooled during hot weather using the cold water from the underground buffers.

This solution allows the rose grower to lower the greenhouse temperature, thus better controlling the climate. The use of underground water buffers offers an efficient and sustainable method for cooling the greenhouse.
