Water reservoirs with floating cover for rose cultivation
Genap, on behalf of our dealer Dalsem BV Den Hoorn, has installed two water reservoirs for the Bionatur project in Soria, Spain. Each reservoir, with a capacity of 23,000 cubic meters, is intended for the cultivation of various rose species across an approximately 15-hectare complex.
The reservoir lining, Aquatex EX 0.6 mm, is underlaid with a 250 gr non-woven layer for protection against ground irregularities. The lining of the reservoirs was made in four parts, welded together on site. To provide additional buoyancy, the reservoirs are equipped with float covers filled with EPS. In total, 24,250 square meters of Aquatex EX membrane, 13,800 square meters of embankment protection, and 10,000 square meters of float cover were installed.
