Water features at Toverland amusement park
During the expansion of the enchanting Toverland amusement park in Sevenum, Genap, in collaboration with Den Ouden Contracting Company, installed several geomembrane constructions. Genap meticulously applied all the necessary geomembrane constructions for this project, utilizing high-quality materials, including Fecatex PVC membrane with a thickness of 1 mm. To provide additional protection, a layer of Genatex NW PP20 protective fleece was applied above and below the membrane. A remarkable total of about 15,000 m² of membrane and protective fleece per layer was used.
These geomembrane constructions were primarily employed as linings for the ponds, on which concrete was poured to create a solid foundation. Despite the project’s scope, the work was completed within just 4 weeks, thanks to Genap’s meticulous planning and execution. Thus, Genap significantly contributed to the charm of Toverland, ensuring visitors continue to enjoy delightful moments in this beloved amusement park.
