Three slurry silos at WUR

Genap recently installed three slurry silos in Lelystad for experimental purposes in collaboration with Wageningen Bioveterinary Research. As a part of Wageningen University & Research, Wageningen Bioveterinary Research is an internationally recognized knowledge institution in the field of animal health. Their mission, “to explore the potential of nature to improve the quality of life,” underscores their commitment to enhancing life quality by exploring nature’s possibilities.

These silos vary in size and specifications. One has a capacity of about 415 m³, with a diameter of 13 meters and a height of 3 meters. The other two silos are larger, each with a capacity of approximately 530 m³ and dimensions of 15 by 3 meters, respectively. These silos are used for various research purposes, including experiments with pulp, the byproduct of cardboard, and grass.
