Six GenaFlexstores® in the desert

For a local dealer, Genap installed 6 GenaFlexstore® water silos near Barka in Oman as a water supply for a new greenhouse complex. These fully enclosed silos vary in size, with 4 units of 26 meters in diameter, 1 of 20 meters, and 1 of 15 meters, all with a height of 2.40 meters and a total storage capacity of over 6000 m³. The silos are lined with certified plastic membrane, while the top of the system is made of a fabric-reinforced PVC membrane of 900 gr/m² with high UV resistance. The top membrane, floating on the water, protects the stored water from contamination, for example, from windblown sand during sandstorms, and minimizes evaporation, even under the extremely high desert temperatures. The GenaFlexstores were installed in just 8 days with the help of the local customer.
