Rotating silo cover at WWTP
At the request of Landustrie Sneek, Genap installed a rotating silo cover at the water treatment facility of Industriewater Eerbeek.
These specific silo covers, also known as “the turban” due to their shape, have a diameter of 36 meters and a height of just 2.5 meters. The low profile of these turbans ensures they are less susceptible to wind, which is a significant advantage.
Additionally, a walkway has been integrated into the cover, with the Genatex 850 reinforced membrane running underneath it. This ensures that the walkway does not come into contact with the contents of the silo.
