Pillow tank at a peatland landscape
At the request of Horticoop Technical Services, Genap installed a Pillow tank at the orchid nursery Schoone in Assendelft. Originally, the client intended to install a silo due to limited space.
However, due to the peatland location of the nursery, construction works such as silos require pile driving for the foundation, which would cost around €80,000 alone. The choice of a Pillow tank provides the client with significant cost savings in construction. Additionally, this water storage system has the advantage of being easy to move and store after use.
