Installation of a mesh silo

In Lopik, Genap installed a mesh silo for the Schouten-Gijsen partnership at their dairy farm. Previously, the farm rented storage space elsewhere, but with future developments in mind, they decided to invest in their own storage facilities.

The silo, standing 3 meters high and with a diameter of 13.15 meters, offers a volume of 407 m³. To facilitate the slurry mixing process, a mixing hatch has been integrated into the floating cover of the slurry silo. It’s important to note that this installation was largely exempt from requiring a permit.

"It was a hot day, but it went very smoothly. In less than a day, a silo of over 400 cubic meters was put down."
