Construction pit for sunken N248 construction

To expedite the construction of a dry excavation pit for the submerged N248 beneath the railway viaduct in Schagen, Genap utilized an ingenious geomembrane construction, equipped with a protective fleece, which was sunk within sheet piles. After the work was completed, a geoelectric measurement was carried out to verify that the geomembrane had been installed watertight. This chosen method is both innovative and time-saving.
