With the introduction of Genatex fPP 450, Genap adds a new high-performance membrane to its product range. Made from reinforced polypropylene, this material combines durability with easy handling and a reduced environmental footprint – ideal for applications where installation efficiency and sustainability go hand in hand.
Easy to install thanks to low weight
Weighing just 450 g/m², Genatex fPP 450 is over 50% lighter than the trusted Genatex 920. This makes a real difference on site: less lifting, easier handling, and safer working conditions – especially when working at height or on large surfaces. The material remains flexible and dimensionally stable between -30 °C and +70 °C, ensuring reliable performance even in extreme weather.
Fully recyclable alternative
Genatex fPP 450 is made entirely from polypropylene – both the reinforcement and the outer layers – making it fully recyclable. It also contains no PVC or plasticisers, making it a more environmentally responsible choice.
Now used in the new GenaDome PRO
The first successful applications are already in place: Genatex fPP 450 is currently being used as the cover material for the new generation of GenaDomes. Other applications are under development.
