SureGrip concrete protection for a wastewater treatment plant

Genap installed 22,000 square meters of SureGrip concrete protection at the new purification plant in Amsterdam West. Betonson produced tank elements, onto which our custom-made protection plates were mounted. Subsequently, our 22 technicians welded these on-site to ensure they were leak-proof.

Deepened road layout N242

At the sunken eastern ring road N242 in Alkmaar, Genap installed 35,500 square meters of PVC membrane for a viaduct construction. A geotextile was used due to the shell-rich soil. Using a self-developed winch system, the membrane was pulled over water and sunk by its own weight. The leak tightness was subsequently tested by TNO.

Waste incinerator ash sealing on the A2

Genap installed HDPE membrane structures at the Beatrixhaven connection road on behalf of Grondbank Nederland BV to seal incineration bottom ash fillings, thereby protecting the environment. The project included 18,500 square meters of NW20 protection fleece, 18,500 square meters of 2 mm rough HDPE MST/MSB membrane, and
14,000 square meters of drainage mat.

Installation of membrane at Aqueduct Langdeel
Bouwcombinatie Wâldwei | Leeuwarden, The Netherlands

Membrane construction aqueduct Langdeel N31

The Langdeel Aqueduct, part of the Standing Mast Route, has reduced congestion by eliminating the crossing of the canal and the N31. The project included one of the world's largest wet excavations with a membrane construction covering 120,000 square meters. The membrane was successfully tested by TNO before the N31 was constructed.
